Books: See Them, Hear Them, Touch Them

Because modern existence has each of us born and raised in varying circumstances, one sometimes feels stuck in these circumstances.  For many years now, people have been able to transform themselves to other places by the tried and true method of reading books.  What used to be a paper and ink experience, can now be accessed through downloads of paper and ink to audio readings of books.  This access allows us to visit more places, times, beliefs, etc.  It seems one can time travel the world even more rapidly than ever, with current technology, and experience the things that appeal to us most.

There are a great number of books with information related to Shamanism and Metaphysics that have been written for education and pleasure.  Seems a new one is being released regularly.  We embarked on this spiritual journey with the mindset that ancient spiritual beliefs served indigenous tribes and people just fine for thousands of years.  Only the arrogance of modern folks, could ever make one believe that these could be improved.  To that end, most of the books listed below have great historical research and content.  Below is a small listing of just some that we have read and thoroughly enjoyed at Blue Bass Drum.   We may or may not have been touched by any of these in a way that changed our outlook or behavior.  Some are used as reference readings in our Shamanism courses, and we would simply like to pass on some helpful references.  These are listed in no particular order:

Blue Wisdom
